Owner description: Myths of Maui Luau The last rays of a spectacular sunset, beating drums and the call of the conch shell signal the start of Maui's most exciting and longest running Polynesian luau. You will enjoy a breathtaking celebration of traditional Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan and Maori dance and music as performers weave the legends of the South Pacific into a spellbinding performance you are sure to treasure for years to come.

Unlike other luau's I have enjoyed in the past, this one is crowded and the story is all over the place. The hostess was "okay" but the music drowned her out and the performers seemed to just be going through the motions. Also th bathromms were a 2 minute walk away and parking was very average.
Next time we will look for one that doesn't seat 200+ at a time. That said the food was good and plentiful!

Not worth the money. Terrible food. No ceremony uncovering the pig. Pork was not from tonight it was very dry. No variety. Just a bad buffet. Do not pay the extra $15 to go VIP nothing special really! Have to pay extra $5 to park. Feels like everyone had their had out for more money after paying a big price to go!! Not the best show by far! I have been to many luau's and this one was one of the worst. Spend your time and money on magic show instead!

Only one person in our party actually liked their food. It was like a Hawaiian-style golden corrall, but not as nice. The show was really good except that the guys playing music during dinner played only two songs and then took a break from which they never returned. The rest of the performers were top notch though.

We went here in 2009 and didn't enjoy it as much but we gave it another chance. There were 10 of us including 2 infants and a toddler. We chose this place because we wanted my parents to enjoy the fire dance. I didn't pay for the premium seating since it was $10 more but we ended up being sat in the premium seats (front row). The food was better than I remembered it to be. The Kalua pork was moist and tasty (not too salty). Everyone enjoyed their food and my parents enjoyed the show. The fire dance was definitely worth going to. My parents and in-laws couldn't stop talking about the show. The host was very cheesy but he has to be I guess to keep the show lively. Definitely look for deals. Don't pay the full price. There are lots of deals on the free magazines they have scattered around. We booked ours same day with Expedia travel tours. They have an office on the hotel premises.

The positive: the place has a nice ocean view. The negative: waiting in a long line because everyone is taking the group picture while entering to the place. Photo that they ask $20.. reeeaaalllyyyy!? Once inside, really bad organization and the service is poor. As someone else said, we walk on dirt, and we sit on plastic chairs at vinyl tables. Then we still have to wait for the dinner. The daylight goes away and we notice that we are in a place that has no light, we eat in the dark. The show starts late at 7pm. We left at 7:30pm before the show is over.
