First, this IS NOT a Cirque de Soleil performance. As a mature, active male, somewhat unappreciative of performing arts, I, unlike my child, wife, and cousins, squirmingly endured this, taking one for the team. My cousins have seen this 27 times, making it mandatory for their guests. The performances vary and evolve over the years and a few original cast members remain. The post show meeting the cast was enjoyed by many. Having experienced other formats of Hawaiian cultural presentations, eg. luaus, film, I would have enjoyed a total Cirque de Soleil performance or gone snorkeling. Expensive, but obviously worth it for well-rounded individuals.
