We sailed out with Cpt. Yoshi and his crew. The boat sailed smoothly and after the captain and the crew are done briefing you on safety tips, the crew members then start dishing out refreshments. Huge, warm cinnamon rolls, hot or cold drinks, there's chips and salsa and of course water at your convenience. They plate you a nice bbq chicken dish with salad and a tasty serving of seasoned rice with it for lunch and then they go around for seconds :-) Needless to say, you won't go hungry in this cruise. Now for the snorkel. We went to Molokini and one of my fins came off. I wanted to get it but it was sinking fast. I went back to the boat and before I can say I lost my fin, one guy said, they got it. The coral reefs were brighter and clearer and lots of marine life to observe. My only tip to snorkelers is to try and minimize the splashing of legs and arms. This sometimes scares the fish away so by the time you get to a certain reef, it's empty because the group before you was making a lot of splash. But I just glided around and found a school of fish that I actually swam with...sooo cool. After Molokini, Cpt. Yoshi took us to Makena, they call it turtle island. Yes, we did see a few turtles and even swam with some. Not everyone had the luck to see turtles so he sailed to a place nearby where turtles were swimming and surfacing for air. Here everyone was able to see and observe them from the boat. This was a protected habitat. It was really the perfect day to go out and snorkel and we couldn't have asked for a better tour than Trilogy and we'd like to say thanks to Cpt. Yoshi and his crew for taking good care of us...we really had an awesome time.
