My husband and I took a snorkel cruise with Trilogy nearly 17 years ago on our honeymoon. When we decided to go back to Maui, we knew we wanted our two kids, 14 and 11, plus his mom to experience the service and fun that Trilogy provides. It was fabulous! The crew was especially attentive to my mother-in-law and the kids got to SNUBA! We saw sea turtles, dolphins and various fish. The cinnamon roll welcome and delicious lunch completed the experience! LOVED it!!

This is a family-run business. They have figured out how to put the right people together on each ship and they are multi-faceted. They have to be food servers, sailors, lifeguards, instructors and first-aid aware. And do it all with a smile on their face.

Off to Lana'i I went for their day trip with a friend visiting from that big rock over there east of us. They have many different trips depending on the season and what your interest is. We got a chance to see lots of whales as December is close to whale soup time (January/February).

This is for able-bodied people and also those who have the ability to handle a boat rocking at anchor. If you have issues with sea-sickness, be kind and don't go on these ships.

You will not go hungry on their day trips. The foods are as good as can be for being presented from their small galley. The lunch chicken is pre-cooked and the captain heats it on the small charcoal grill hung over the railing.

Love going out on their boats, any time I can with friends visiting. If this sort of thing is enjoyable to you, do it.

Went on the sunset sail with my wife as part our honeymoon. A great excursion for anyone, no matter the occasion. Our crew were amazing. Captain Kevin, first mate Carrie and Second mate Kendall made the cruise even better. Carrie has this special ability to remember people's names the first time. It's a real nice touch when later she asks "Joel, would you like anything else?". All the crew were very friendly and we had a conversation with them all. They are happy to discuss anything and I feel genuinely want to get to know all their guests, even if it is for a short time.

The food on board was great. It's not a full meal but the perfect amount for relaxing with a glass of wine or whatever you prefer.

In the end, this is a great bang for your buck on Maui. People are what makes an experience, and these wonderful folks have "it".

Though Lanai looks like it's just a short trip across the ocean, the ride to and from totals 1.5 hours each way. The crew on the Trilogy boat makes sure you are well fed and hydrated as you cross, and definitely don't forget your sunscreen - it's hot out there! Upon arrival, there's a short walk to the private Hualope Beach. Have to admit, snorkeling was pleasant, but not that much to see. If you're looking for anything other than colorful fish, this is not the place to see it. There was an optional van tour with the locals of Lanai, we opted for more beach time. Then, after you've had your fill of swimming and sunning, the Trilogy team makes a delicious BBQ lunch! Literally it was delicious! Overall, fun times, but a little disappointed on the snorkeling sights underwater.

I have lived on Maui for 25 years and I don't do boats....with the exception of "Trilogy"! I highly recommend the trip to Lana'i! It is top notch It's so worth spending a little bit more to spend a glorious day at Manele Beach! Trilogy has it's own Gazebo where they prepare the most delicious lunch for you as well! Mama Coon's Teriyaki Chicken is the best ever! This is a dedicated family business for many years that are devoted to the customer and offering a quality service for our tourists on Maui! Maui No Ka Oi!
