“2nd largest Banyan tree in the world did not disappoint!”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

We spent a lot of time in the cool shady area of this park. It is in the middle of all the activity on Front Street. To say it is large and old is an understatement. You could spend hours just studying how it grew and branched out, literally. Local Boys West shaved ice and Cool Cat Cafe are right across the street for your dining convenience. It is also in front of the pier where all the boat tours leave.

One tree looks like about a dozen trees in a block. Huge! On water front. Close to good shopping on front street. Went during the day and ate our local boys shave ice there.

“Awesome tree!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

This is an incredible site if you have never seen a banyan tree. Nice place to get out of the sun and rest your weary feet. Really cool how this tree is rooted in the ground in multiple places yet the tree is totally connected. I have never seen anything like this before.
