Nearly every weekend, local artists display their native hawaain crafts and art. A real way to connect with local culture.

“Great meeting place”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

The only thing I don't like about the Banyan Tree Park is all the bird dropping...but I guess that can't be avoided with a tree that takes up a whole block. It is close to Lahania Harbor and there are public restrooms close by.

“Big Tree”

Oldest Banyan tree in Hawaii. Nice park, plenty of shade for resting and in Lahaina right by ocean and shopping and restaurants everywhere.

“The most amazing tree of all”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

Hard to believe this is one tree. I was amazed to learn how this tree was formed. It is very expansive and covers a lot of ground at the park. A must-see when staying on Maui in the Lahaina area.
