Description: In the early days of the sugar plantations, lunch was a simple affair. Plantation workers gathered in the fields for their mid-day meal. The Japanese laborers would bring teriyaki beef with rice and pickled vegetables. Seated next to them might be their Filipino neighbors with the traditional dish adobo or perhaps a pork or chicken stew. The Koreans had their kalbi or marinated ribs and the Chinese a rice noodle and vegetable dish called chow fun. Hawaiians were known for their kalua pig, roasted in an underground oven called an imu. It wasn't long before they began to share their foods with one another and the "mixed plate" was born. Aloha Mixed Plate features true "Local" traditional plate lunches with open air seating directly on the ccean. We are open for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

First, the service was really excellent. Both are server and another server/hostess provided exceptional service before, during and after our meal, and that is always a unique pleasure. We started with the pickle plate appetizer and found that enjoyable (kim chi and various pickled vegetables). My wife had a noodle plate with shredded pork which exceeded her expectations and I had the Aloha mixed plate (I believe). It was very good. I would definitely recommend for food, atmosphere, service and value.

Had lunch here on recommendation from a local. Food was pretty good and prices were much better than most other places we tried. We were able to split a plate with Ono fish, chicken and teriyaki beef. Fish was a little dry but chicken and beef were both good. Plan on getting err early or you'll experience a wait.

The food was good and was very reasonable priced. The mixed drink specials and the ribs are delicious. Very low-key atmosphere on the water for picture perfect sunset.

Ate here last week, and the service was slow. The terriyaki beef was tough, and the mahimahi nothing special. Won't be eating here again.

First meal when we arrived on Maui. We got off the plane, drove to Lahaina and came across the Aloha Mixed Plate. We were not disappointed. Tofu Stir Fry was very tasty. My daughter had the grilled cheese and said it was the best! Mahalo
