So many tempting offerings. Love the quiche and french toast. Loads of fresh fruit and pastry option.

Yes the fish is better than anywhere on the mainland, but like the hotel, it is the most Hawaiian place, and all that entails. Weird I got a separate bill from the bar and restaurant.

Had 11 am reservation for Sunday Brunch with Inside Seating. Arrived and were told it would be a few minutes. Our name was called and we were starting to be taken to outdoor seating, I then indicated the reservation was for inside. Told to wait it would be a couple of minutes. Then told no inside seating available that it would be about 30 minutes! Ok, someone screwed up, seat us outside. Takes us to a table that's already occupied. Now mind you I can see empty tables inside, but also several tables outside even several adjacent to the occupied one. Additionally, there is no one else waiting, and the couple who checked in just seconds before, without reservations, are already seated, inside, and eating!! Told well it will be 45 minutes! What, are you kidding me? I've lived here for 30 years, eaten at the Tiki many many times. But in recent years this place, as well as the hotel has changed, not for the better. Virtually no Aloha, poor customer service, etc. Unfortunately the influx of residents have severally diluted the Spirit of Aloha in the islands. Please do not blame the Hawaiian people, many of those you encounter who are working at the hotels are not native to the island, and there is lack of caring is beginning to show. While the selection at brunch is abundant you can do better with your $40 per head for brunch. Heck go get breakfast, then lunch somewhere and you'll still have money left over. This place is living on their past reputation, very disappointing treatment to a Kama'aina and their special mainland guest. The Hawaiian people still have the Spirit of Aloha, many of the outsiders do not, don't be fooled by someone who claims to be a native Hawaiian - like the "most Hawaiian hotel."
