Sunday Brunch at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel is an event rather than JUST a meal. The main reason for going is the decor, the entertainment, and the impromptu participation of those with Hula or singing talent. The food is excellent for a buffet with a lot of Hawaiian Poke, Lumi-lumi salmon, crab, shrimp, etc, There are also lots of more conventional selections.

We were entertained on 8/18 by a couple of vocalists who were joined, impromptu, by a Hawaii Ladies Organization (they were guests - not paid entertainers.) They were all seniors and performed with the grace and beauty that Hula is noted for. Amazing! Remember to make reservations for patio seating if it is not too hot out because that is where the entertainment starts.

My two friends and I did the champagne brunch there and it is nothing short of amazing. The food selection is out of this world, the champagne keeps flowing, the musical entertainment was fun and perfect, and the price is more than reasonable. There are probably 30 different meat choices, a chocolate fountain, a belgian waffle station, a personal omelette chef, crab legs, sushi, desserts, juices - everything you could think of and more. This was a HUGE highlight on our vacation and I would recommend it to anyone - families, friends, couples. You will NOT be disappointed.

We went for the champaign brunch for our anniversary, it was complete with a Hawaiian love song! Food was good and service great. Don't know why I have to write a review of 100 characters! Blah, blah, blah.

We usually like to explore more than just what the hotel offers, but after walking next door to the Whalers Shopping Center and seeing the 1.5 hour wait time for dinner and the crazy high prices, we ate at the hotel's restaurant and were very pleased. We had no wait time at all, and the prices were reasonable for a Maui dinner. I had the chicken teriyaki and it was very good. There was also a hula show going on, as it does every night. My party agreed that we had a better experience here than we would have had at the over crowded and expensive places next door.

This brunch was great for my family, it had some basic breakfast items and all types of seafood as well. The endless champagne didn't hurt either. They had entertainment as well. I would recommend for families. If you are looking for a 5 star meal this might not be the place but great for casual dining.
