“Voted "Best Kept Secret" on Maui by Maui Magazine readers in 2006”
Reviewed March 29, 2006

This place is a little hard to find but when you do you find it is a gem. Not fancy but good food at reasonable prices. It is right on Kaanapali beach with a beautiful view. Not in Lahaina. It is behind Maui Ka'anapali Villas and resort near the north end of Ka'anapali beach. (--).

“Great Wine Selection, OK food”
Reviewed March 25, 2006

The above average is weighted. The food is about average and the wine selection is outstanding. We tried different entrees and appetizers and the two winners were the coconut shimp and the Maui burger!

If you like to drink good wine but don't need the excessive mark-up and expensive food, this is the place to go! Their wine selection is robust (we eat out frequently and this is one of the widest offerings we have seen). You won't believe it when you walk in the place, but you will when you see the wine list.

Especially good to go have a bottle of wine in the evening, watch the sunset, maybe even catch the whales.

This is probably the best place to go on your first night, if you can entice the owner to have a drink with you. Gary, the owner, can give you the scoop on Maui and is just a great guy to talk to.

It is on the Maui Ka'anapali Villas' complex.
