“A hidden gem!”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

The restaurant's beachfront dining is laid back, comfortable, and wonderful background music (oldies, but goodies) plays in the background. For breakfast order the eggs Benedict with Portuguese sausage (instead of traditional Canadian bacon).....and with rice instead of potatoes -- YUM! They serve very good comfort food, the service is consistently very good, and the ambiance is feel-good beachfront . Oh, their wine selection is a stunning surprise--they have been recommended by Wine Spectator. Dinner cuisine is very good; the wine selections are stellar. This is a hidden gem.

“Great food, great service, great value”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Maui. The service is fast and friendly. They offer a nice selection of reasonably priced mixed drinks, beer, and wine for those who partake. The food portions are HUGE, which is awesome since I'm tired of paying $30 a plate and leaving hungry. Try the macadamia nut pineapple pancakes for breakfast with coconut syrup. To die for! The pineapple upside down cake for dessert is also amazing.

It's not fancy, you can wear shorts and a t-shirt, but if you're looking for a decent meal without breaking the bank, I wholeheartedly recommend.

Great hamburgers, fish & chips. Casual and comfortable place for the family to eat and we would return again.

“You can get better prime rib at Denny's.”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Oredered my prime rib med rare came well done and chewy, like they over heated it in a micro. The mixed veggies were not even cooked. My wife ordered a fish in a mild curry sauce, she said it was good, but too sweet. Sunset was great, staff good, but no Hawaiian atmosphere. Ate the fish and chips the day before, very good. Order the fish dishes as they do not know how to cook or serve prime rib. Will have think if we will go back.

“Great location”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

This is a great location and the servers are very nice. Breakfast was okay, French Toast was the big thick cinnamon bread, just not enough egg coating for my liking, good ingredients though. My husband had eggs, hash browns; average. We did go for dinner as well; again, good ingredients, however needs just a little more flair with the spices as the flavor was a little "flat". I had ribs (a bit overcooked and dry) with cole slaw. The cole slaw was so tasteless, I asked for something else. My husband had some pickled cabbage and carrot side, so I asked for that ........delicious!
