“Finally went, packed, burger just so-so”
Reviewed February 18, 2014

I liked the live music, service was just ok, thought the cheese burger would be better than it was, probably was when it first opened but there are better burgers to be found. Try to sit on top so you can look out on the street. Plan to sit next to someone, tight fit.

“Fun place.”
Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

Hit the lunch time period. Like the way they handle their waiting list. They text you when your table is available. Service was fine. Wait time for food acceptable. Had the cheeseburgers with fries. Was lucky enough to get an oceanside first floor table which was great. No complaints. Brooks was our server. He was attentive and did a fine job. Here for 11 days so am sure we will stop by again.

“A Touch of Home in Lahaina”
Reviewed February 17, 2014

This isn't the only burger joint on Front St. in funky old Lahaina town, and it might not even be the best, but Cheeseburger in Paradise was a welcome sight for four frost-bitten Albertans on vacation when we rolled in for lunch on a busy Monday.

The restaurant, located in an old two-storey building that's a hangout for a decidedly on-the-go casual crowd, features an impressive display of licence plates, of all things, from around the world on the walls and ceilings. CIP had us half won over before we even ordered our food, when we saw at least two licence plates from Wild Rose Country. It's a fun joint, right down to the tacky grass hula skirts servers wear.

CIP doesn't try to re-invent the wheel in terms of menu choices. While there's just about every version of a beef patty and bun anybody could want served alongside tasty cheese fries or sweet potato fries, the menu is nothing out of the ordinary. There's also fish, wraps, tacos -- the usual fare.

The idea is fast in, fast out for tourists taking a break from loading up on souvenirs in the many shops in old Lahaina. It works. Most of what we had, including the blue cheese burger I ordered, was decidedly very good. The service was fine.

CIP is perfect lunch stop if you're in a hurry to empty your wallet in nearby shops, but need nourishment along the way. Fast. Fun. A great ocean view. Pick your burger of choice and find a licence plate from wherever you're from. It's all good.

“Most disgusting thing we ever saw.”
Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

This place was horrible. For a cheeseburger place the burger was the worst I have ever had. Regular frozen hamburgers. After we ate here we saw the burgers being delivered from across the street in plastic bins. Burgers were frozen as we thought. The man pushing the cart of frozen burgers noticed there was a white colored goop on one of the burgers. Instead of throwing that burger out with his bare dirty fingers he wiped away the disgusting goop and flung it in the street. Then they just dropped the burgers off like nothing happened. Since we ate here the night before we wanted to vomit. We will never ever go back to this disgusting place. Gross don't eat here

“Cheeseburger ARE Paradise”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

We had another great lunch on the water with great views of whales and boats and paddle boarders. The beer was cold and the cheeseburgers were hot off the grill. A delicious meal. And Bee the server was great - her customer service focus and fun attitude was appreciated.
