“Great Breakfast”
Reviewed October 21, 2007

Split the banana mac pankcakes and fried rice with my wife. Both were very satisfying. Beware when you order the fried rice as the portion is very huge but tasty. You will have a snack left over for later that day.

Great view too!

“Breakfast was worth the wait”
Reviewed October 8, 2007

We got to the gazebo around 10:00 and waited a half hour to be seated. Once we ordered our food came out in about 5 minutes. The staff is very efficient at turning the tables. I guess you have to be
when there are only 14 tables and a never ending line.

The banana macadamia nut pancakes were fantastic. I got the full stack which was way too much food, even for a big Midwestern eater like myself. The Portoguesse sausage was good too, not too spicy but enough that you could feel it. The eggs benedict were also delicious.

By the time we were done eating it was 11:00, so we waited in line for 30 minutes and were done eating in another 30 minutes. We both felt the food was worth the wait.

“great breakfast on maui”

Little gazebo in the back of the Napili Shores resort with a line around the pool. We waited about 30 min to get in, but the pancakes were so awesome!

“Really good breakfast!”
Reviewed June 24, 2007

My wife & I went here on our first full morning. We split the mac/banana pancakes and the fried rice & eggs. Both were wonderful. We finished the pancakes and took the rest of the fried rice back to the condo (and had it with scrambled eggs another day). Huge portions and very reasonable prices. Good coffee, too. We'd have gone back in a heartbeat, but I'm a pretty decent cook, so I made breakfast every morning in the condo (saves $$, too).

We had read to get there at 7:45am (opens at 8:00am) to get a seat. We arrived at 7:30am to see a big line already.

Regardless, I'd highly recommend the food. It's all about the food, anyway, isn't it?

“Excellent location, terrific food, highly recommended!”
Reviewed June 23, 2007

We discovered The Gazebo by accident and are very glad we did. It is located in the back of Napili Shores Hotel along lower Honoapiilani Road. It doesn't have terrific signage, so pull into the resort and head to the back of the parking lot. The restaurant is located along the shore, adjacent to the swimming pool.

We were a party of 6 and arrived at approximately 7:45 am (they open at 7:30 am). The restaurant was already "full" and we waited with a few other couples for approximately 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant is 'open air" - truly a gazebo, with the kitchen in the center and all of the tables surrounding it. They have awnings they pull down if it rains/mists, but otherwise you're up front to one of the greatest views in the world (the ocean).

In addition to a great view, the food was terrific. As many others have stated, you need to try each of the macadamia nut, banana, and pineapple pancakes. They are topped with a pineapple-flavored whip cream, and you can add coconut syrup off the table. Sounds sweet and it is - but really terrific for splitting with a few others. Also recommended are the ham, swiss, and pineapple omelette (can't remember the menu name) and the fresh pineapple.

Prices were reasonable and overall we were very pleased with the experience. Definitely a great early morning stop.
