“Fantastic dinner”
Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

We had dinner at the Lahaina Grill last night with our daughters aged 20 and 23. We enjoyed everything about it. The atmosphere is upscale but still casual. There was beautiful, colorful artwork on all the walls, ceiling fans, a bustling bar in the center of the restaurant-all of which added to the experience. The food and service were excellent and our waiter had numerous good suggestions that we were glad we followed. One of our daughters loved her salmon and corn soup. The other had short ribs that were out of this world. My husband adored his steak with peppercorn sauce. We had lime tart and a pie made of ice cream and coconut with an oreo cookie crust and loved them both. We would definitely eat here again.

“Wonderful dinner and service”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

My husband and I had a fantastic meal at Lahaina Grill. It's a beautiful restaurant right off Front St. We had the caprese salad and prawn starter, rack of lamb and salmon. Skipped dessert - although the menu was VERY tempting - only because the portions of our starters and mains were so generous. Our server was great. Very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine.

Total was around $200 for our food plus 2 glasses of prosecco and a half bottle of wine. It's not cheap but we knew that going in and had a great night.

The only reason for the 4 stars (instead of 5) - the tables are packed in. It's like they are trying to get as many people in as they possibly can and for the amount you're spending it'd be nice to have more than hip width between you and the table next to you. It also means its a bit loud but it wasn't too bad, more buzzy than loud. But FYI if you're looking for quiet ambience.

“Luscious Lahaina Grill”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

This restaurant lived up to our expectations; Upscale atmosphere, very attentive personnel, and exceptional food! The Kula Mixed Greens Salad was loaded with crunchy vegetables and had a light but tasty dressing. My husband had the Maui Onion Soup; he said it was one of the best onion soups he's ever had. I ordered the Snapper special; it was perfectly prepared and moist. My husband was equally pleased with the Mahi-Mahi. Everything was perfect!

“Simply THE BEST RESTAURANT ON MAUI!”
Reviewed December 23, 2012 via mobile

Consistently GREAT! Been coming for 10 years & it NEVER disappoints. We always spend New Year's Eve here & come 1-2 x more. It's THAT good! Every singe dish is superlative! ( Tonight I tried the Tequila Shrimp with crackling rice) The desserts are fantastic! Especially the flourless chocolate cake with coffee ice cream. The service is impeccable & the ambiance is terrific. Do not miss Lahaina Grill when your on Maui! It's not inexpensive, but it's worth it!

“Definitely be back”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

We found this restaurant using TripAdvisor and weren't disappointed. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff, from the hostesses to the busboy and waiter/sommelier. The recommendations by the staff were right on, and the food was prepared and presented wonderfully. The bufala tomato salad appetizer was beautiful and so fresh; the seared ahi, prepared poke style was the best we've ever had! The evening's special, panko crusted Opakapaka (pink snapper) was delightful and generously portioned. We wrapped up dinner by sharing the house specialty, tri-berry pie and the recommended port pairing. We cannot say enough about this gem of a restaurant and look forward to enjoying it again on our next visit.
