“Good but not great. Be careful about seating.”
Reviewed October 9, 2013

Great location, good bar tender, good service, somewhat unimaginative menu but more than adequate. Great location on the beach. But be careful. As we were only 2 we were seated at what amounted to a table for one, squeezed in with a pole next to us and therefore obstructed view of beach. But it is on the beach with breezes and surf and otherwise an outstanding spot. Just insist on a good table. The staff was particularly pleasant. Sea food with an island twist but not a lot of imagination. Portions were huge--we took home leftovers.

“Romantic dinner”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

Location, menu, food, service. Everything was top notch. It was a delightful dinner. Even the little shops leading up to the restaurant were charming. We highly recommend Pacific'O.

“Not as good as it use to be.”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

Still has good fish but it came with so many leafy greens I thought it was a salad with a side of fish. And the Tomato Stack salad had more greens than tomatoes, all fresh but just too many considering the name of the salad.

“One of my favorite restaurants slipping. .”
Reviewed October 3, 2013

Can't beat the location, but menu is slipping! Some of my favorite are gone, and menu seems much more simple, bland, and UN impressive. Can't beat the local though.

“Great view and ambiance, average, overpriced food.”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

The setting is magnificent but there is a large fee built into the cost of the food, which is at best mediocre. All tables are beach front and face the ocean, a great venue for magnificent sunsets. The Ceviche was highly acidic, leaving a sharp after taste and lacked variety of fish, having only ono and ahi. The ono and ahi tempura was a disappointment as it turned out to be a smallish six slice sushi roll which was battered and fried tempura style. The hejeki tasted like it came straight from the sea, blah, and the rice was tasteless. A menu item featured four ounces of lobster tail and five ounces of filet mignon. When asked if you could have all lobster tail, the reply was yes for a $18 up charge, do the math, that values the four ounces of lobster at $72 per pound. Best bet here is to come before sunset, have a drink at the bar, watch the sunset and dine elsewhere.
