“Great locals place with great food”
Reviewed December 27, 2012 via mobile

We've been to Dolllies a few times over our course of visits to Maui. It's a dive bar/pub/pizza joint. It's definitely a locals hang out. Super casual, perfect for after a long day in the sun or driving around & not wanting to spend $100/2ppl on a fancy Lahaina dinner, and wanting to go in your flip flops, bathing suit & coverup. Food last night was amazing as always. We love the antipasto salad. Fresh cheeses & meats. The Maui revealed book in my opinion under rates this place. However. Last night the soda was consistently terrible. We told the waitress & her best answer is "the machines are low!" Ok go fix it if you know- when your six tastes like dirt, why serve it? Beer is always cold, pizza piping hot! Our valet. Guys @ out hotel never heard of Dollies, that's how off the map it is, but I'm almost thinking they were downplaying that so it doesn't become a tourist place. I dunno! It's just north of kaanapali near the mc Donald's on the frontage road in a small strip center!

“Go here for a casual, local, welcoming scene.”
Reviewed December 23, 2012 via mobile

Went for breakfast Buffet. Service was the best we've had here in Maui, and we've been to all the top restaurants. Definitely a local/tourist spot. They have all the NFL games. Summer and the MOD had a strong presence and were very welcoming. Highly recommend.

“Two Happy Hours!”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

After a long day of travel, we visited Dollie's our first night on Maui, as it was only about 1 mile from our Condo. We found they have happy hour from 3-6 and 9-12. Drink specials and $5 appetizers make this a great deal on Maui. Also, as Green Bay Packer fans, we found they open at 8am on Sundays for NFL, and we joined about 20 other Packer fans for the game. Drinks specials and a $9.99 breakfast buffet made for a great 2nd visit (3rd actually, as we picked up pizza one night as well!)

“Great pizza to go”
Reviewed December 9, 2012

We stayed at a condo complex just down the street from Dollie's and had a craving for pizza. While pricey, their specialty pizzas are amazing, and it was nice to get them to go to enjoy on our lanai. If you want a simple, easy, but very tasty way to enjoy lunch or dinner but don't feel like eating in the pub, the pizza is a great thing to order as take-out.

“Are tourists welcome?”
Reviewed November 23, 2012 via mobile

The food was typical American bar food and it was pretty good. However our waitress acted like we shouldn't be there. It took a while before we ordered and all the other people who arrived after us got their food and finished before we got our food. Then, she not only gave us food we didn't order, she forgot food we did order. When we told her, she got mad and argued. I've never had that happen. The prices were really high too. There were lots of Caucasians there but they were regulars.
