Love the atmosphere but servers and hostess need training in how to treat patrons dropping $100 bucks a head for wine and dinner. Maybe they should take a field trip to some other fine dining establishments to see how it's done. Food is better than mediocre but not to die for. I would rate us as foodie gourmands who eat well even in our own kitchen. We are only impressed by food and wine better than we cook ourselves and drink every night. A normal person will love the food.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I went to Sea House on our first night out in Maui.
Make reservations and get there early so you can get a table looking out over the ocean.
While we waited, at the bar with nowhere to sit, we tried to find some shelter from the rain outside. However, when we were seated the barman made us pay for our drinks before we were seated and was not willing to transfer to the table, not cool for an expensive restaurant.
Unfortunately, the fish was mediocre at best and was topped off by a dessert that appeared to be a piece of sheet cake. We would not go back neither would we recommend. Instead try Honu or Mala down the road for some really great food.

“Meal was very good”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

The views of the beach are beautiful from the outdoor. The main course was pretty good. I had the chicken and my husband the MAHI. We had tiramisu for dessert but I think it was more of white cake with some cream on top. I am not sure if I would return for dinner.

“"The view is mesmerizing"”

The Sea House is our favorite breakfast spot on Maui. The food is delicious with generous portions so you can share. Try one of their morning specials like the Loco Moco which has a yummy and not heavy gray. We would like to commend the excellent hostesses, Casey and Cheryl. They welcome you with aloha as soon as you cross the threshold. We always ask for the same waiter, Duane. He's our favorite and he works extra hard to please his customers.

“The food is as good as the view”
Reviewed March 2, 2014

Right on the beach, the sunsets are stunning and the food is excellent. Try the Ahi sashimi and the Maui beach balls as pupus. The fresh fish of the day is excellent, with several ways th chef prepares it.
