Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

“Delicious and great location”
Reviewed November 4, 2009

Make sure you try their drink menu first and foremost-especially the Maui margarita. Their carrot muffins are to die for and i know you wont be able to stop at just one. excellent mahi mahi and great salads. The location right on the water is fabulous and the live local music was fabulous! dont leave without eating a hula pie for dessert....the size will be enough for the whole table.

“Awesome view, mai tais and food!”
Reviewed November 3, 2009

This is by far our favorite restaurant and a MUST each time we have visited Maui in the last 10 years.. This past September was our 7th visit and the food was as exceptional as the first time we came to Kimo's. Since the crowds are down in September, we were able to walk right in and get an ocean-side table within a matter of minutes. The Kushiyaki is our favorite entree and the mai tais are some of the best on the island. And don't forget the Hula Pie for dessert! Also the live entertainment is always outstanding. Our server was Kamuela and he did such a nice job that we requested to be seated at one of his tables when we returned for dinner again at the end of our vacation. And yet again Kimo's did not disappoint.....It was a perfect way to end our 25th Anniversary trip before heading back to the airport!

“Atmosphere was good - but that's about all”
Reviewed November 1, 2009

The food here was just okay - they went a little heavy on the sauces which I think ruins the flavor of the dish - especially if you order fish. The service left a lot to be desired, which could have just been our waiter as we only went here once. He wouldn't make eye contact with us, did not place your food in front of you (had to grab your order from the end of the table yourself), would walk by looking at our empty glasses but not offer another drink, and other annoying things like that. The location is great in downtown Lahaina and the view was pretty good as well. The bar area looked like it would be fun. The restrooms were pretty awful, but that seemed to be my experience throughout Maui.

“Great atmosphere and food”

This place has a beautiful view, you are practically in the water. We ordered the coconut crusted fish and hawaiin chicken sandwich, both were excellent. The bartenders are really fun and welcoming. The hula pie is a must have.

“The food and the ambiance while looking at the Hawaiian sunset was more than anyone could dream.”
Reviewed October 27, 2009

The macadamia crusted opakapaka was fantastic, we came back a few days later and ordered the same meal. The view is spectacular, very romantic and friendly servers. We always seem to meet and become friends with another couple while dining at Kimo's. The free Hula pie on your second visit is a delight.
