Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

Tried Kimo's after another the previous day for lunch. The fish taco was actually FISH. Go figure. The mai tai were alright and expensive considering so many downtown offer up good cocktails for a lot less money. Burger was ok too. Great location as most are along the water. Would really like to try this one for dinner.

my son was married on Maui and we hosted a group of 22 people at Kimos in Lahaina for dinner. the staff was remarkably friendly from the moment we made the reservations right through the end of our meal. the hula pie was a big hit!

This wasn't the most expensive place we ate dinner but it was one of the best. We took the advice of another fan here on tripadvisor and arrived early because they have open seating starting at 5pm. We arrived at 4:30 on thursday night and the hostess said come back at 5 til and you will be fine. She was correct and we walked upstairs right at 5. We were seated next to the railing for a spectacular view. The sun was bright and a little warm but they had sun screens set up. The screens came down at sunset and the view got better and better. Salad came with dinner and it was a decent caesar salad but nothing spectacular. My wife had a crusted snapper for dinner with capers and it was really good. I had a rare seared big eye tuna in a thai chili sauce and it was also really good and a big piece of fish. The guy next to us had a prime rib ( I can't bring myself to eat beef while I'm at the beach but have what you like) and it looked like Fred Flintstone as the thing was so huge. We shared Hula Pie for dessert ( if you each have one you will not fit in a bathing suit) and it was great. Reasonably priced for Hawaii.

This is a great meal after shopping in Lahaina Town. It's nestled among several shops but the view from the deck is still amazing (if you can manage to get a table there). The service was incredible and the fish was super fresh. Side items (rice, etc.) all tasted super fresh and amazing. It's somewhat pricey for the busy atmosphere but it's still a place that one must eat while visting Maui.

The atmosphere has dim lighting. Food was good, but the preparations are just your basic(grilled, broiled, blackened). No twists or innovation. Compared to the other awesome restaurants on Maui this one is just okay. In the same price range, you can have an awesome culinary experience at I'O's or Pacificos. The Hula Pie is good.
