Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

“Best Opah fish on the island”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

We stopped in for lunch based on a recommendation of a hotel employee. The service is so-so. Prices very expensive but the Opah (Hawaiian moon fish) was out of this world! Highly recommend. My husband had the calamari as well as fish tacos and also thought they were excellent.
I've tried Opah at several restaurants since and nothing has compared to here.
Highly recommend

“Great Lunch Stop During Shopping”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Great lunch place to stop during shopping on Front Street. We had the coconut shrimp (great but a little pricey for the small portion,) fish, and a pineapple burger. Everything was delicious, we were just sad we didn't have room for the massive Hula Pie we kept seeing others get! We had a table closest to the water and the view was great.

“Anniversary Dinner Destination”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

My husband and I once again celebrated our wedding anniversary at Kimo's and I suspect we will again next year. Where else can I get a teriyaki steak cooked the way I like? Where else can we get such an awesome view while dining? Where else can we also get our favorite tropical drink? No where we know about since the search stopped at Kimo's. This year, we were able to make dinner reservations through Open Table. In the past, it was first come, first served.

The only disappointment was the special Hula Pie I've been drooling for since I saw the many different kinds on Facebook. There wasn't a special Hula PIe. I guess that's a summer treat, not the end of September treat.

“great place, great food, great service”
Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

We went there for dinner, the view was awsome! Our little girl had grilled shrimps and mashed potatoes (for once not fried stuff on the baby menu!!) and she loved it! We had fish and it was very good! Luckily we tried the dessert: pumpkin hula pie... delicious!!
