Description: Right on the water and in the heart of historic Lahaina, Kimo’s brings you and your o’hana (Hawaiian for family) a casual, completely Maui dining experience. Renowned our “postcard” views of Lanai and Molokai, we offer a menu featuring fresh Hawaiian fish, prime rib, prime steaks and the original Hula Pie, Kimo’s has been a Maui must-do for over 30 years. The upstairs main dining room shows the architectural influence of New England on the former whaling port, with koa-lined walls, missionary-style furnishings and maritime memorabilia. After dinner, Kimo’s lanai becomes a very cool hotspot for tropical cocktails and Hawaiian music. Live entertainment is offered on weekends and select week nights.

“Dinner at a premium....”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Just got back from Kimo's, my second time there, this time for dinner. Although the food was good, some of the portions were completely out of wack! A $6.95 Cesar salad was tiny...which was fine for me as I also got a "loaded baked potato" but on it's own it was "sad". The service was impeccable and the hour wait was fine (we went across the street to Moose McG's for cheaper drinks while we waited) but I don't like when a restaurant charges you for something and then "cheaps out". My loaded baked potato was seriously about 3 times the size of the salad and it was $4.95. We obviously chose the place so we knew what types of prices we were getting but keep the standards high Kimo's!!!

“fun dinner”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

My husband and I made a reservation and had a great table overlooking the ocean. The server recommended several fish on special that were new to us, and he took the time to describe them to us. Our food came, and it was a delicious. This is a laid back atmosphere with good service, good food, and a beautiful view.

“Wonderful fish”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

Went there twice because the fish selection and preparation are excellent. Loved the lanai and the friendly--if very crowded & rushed-- service -- their mai tai recipe is very fruity. We liked it all.

Great staff, great atmosphere, excellent food. Highly recommend it. Family friendly. Try putting your name in before 6pm or the wait can be long and reservations fill fast.

“Dine Upstairs If You Can”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

Kimo's is a fun place to eat in downtown Lahaina. If possible, sit upstairs on the terrace for a great view and cooling breeze. The food was very good and the service attentive even though they were quite busy. After dinner, the location is great to spend some time walking the downtown which is very interesting.
