Look in Maui Revealed for directions, we missed it at first. The beach here was what you'd expect of Hawaii, just gorgeous. The trail was an enjoyable walk along beautiful scenic vistas. It is part boardwalk, part, gravel, and part rock. We found it to be breathtaking and well worth it.

I really enjoy this hike, it is not really a trail as some other reviewers have mentioned, but it is a very scenic hike. I love how in a few short miles you can go from the very Hawaiian feeling of the beautiful Kapalua Bay to the almost lunar landscape of the quasi lava field to the sand dunes of Oneloa Bay that remind me of Nantucket.

It is a great walk for people who are not big hikers or who have limited mobility. It can also be part of a long run providing some much need breeze to break up the heat of running along the paved roads of Kapalua and Napili.

If you are staying on this side of Maui, give yourself a break from the hustle of trying to fit everything into your vacation and take a nice relaxing walk along the beautiful seashore, you will not regret it I promise.

The trail is very easy to walk on for the most part: either paved or a walkway. There are a few areas of gravel/dirt, but it's not bad. The trail takes you past some gorgeous rocks on the ocean. We walked all the way out and saw colorful fish in the clear water. As we continued walking, it took us through areas of bright green grass contrasted against the royal blue sky with giant palm trees. Very enjoyable walk!

Terrific trail for walking or jogging and the views are tremendous. If you plan it right, you could grab a towel and climb down the stairs to a small beach and enjoy part of the day - no shade or facilities, but a beauty of a beach.

We followed the directions from maui revealed, parked and began the trail. It is beautiful, marked okay, but we went the wrong way for dragons teeth. We were kind of disappointed. We drove to DT Fleming beach park but didn't go in the water. Earlier rains caused bacteria to build up in the water. The warnings were clearly posted.
