Owner description: A two-mile walk along Maui's northwest coast, the trail begins and ends on a beach. In between, you'll see spactacular oceanfront and bountiful greenery on the dramatic coastline.

If you want a nice walk away from the crowds of Kaanapali, this is a great trail. You walk along the rugged shoreline and end up at Kapalua Bay where there is good snorkeling as well.

If you like to walk this trial is a must , You are up above the beach and you walk to cliff overlooks with big splashing waves hitting the cliffs.

We have walked this trail many times, it's a regular event on any visit to the Napili area. Once again we hit it this year on a windy day, which made hanging onto hats an interesting challenge. But the power of the surf pounding in along the rocks was breathtaking.

Starts at the Nipili Kai resort along the shore line. Look for the little blue signs with the waves in it. They'll show where you can enter and leave the trail. Views are unbelievable. Takes about 3 miles up the coast to Flemming Beach. Goes without saying, take your camera.. P.S. wear good teenies for traction.

This is a nice 3 1/2 mile, round trip hike along the Kapalua coast, by kapalua Bay, out through a nesting bird sanctuary, with crashing waves on the old lava flows. Then up to parts of the Bayside golf course & down to D.T. Fleming beach. The trail continues but was closed the day we did the hike.
