Kayaked out to Molokini about 3 1/2 miles off Makena. It's an volcano that has amazing snorkeling and dive 'drop off' into the bluest water. If you get chance you have got to do it. Thanks Hollis and Tim.

We signed up for this three hour excursion, and left with unforgettable memories. We had a chance to become familiar with the history and culture of the Polynesians and their way of life which we found fascinating. We went snorkeling and swam with sea turtles. Our instructors, Tim and Chyna, were very knowledgeable and made it really fun for our kids, as well.

If you can only pick one activity you and your husband, you and your family or just for you on Maui, I would HIGHLY recommend this Outrigger Canoe experience. Tim teaches you part of the Hawaiian language, teamwork and paddling together, ancient Hawaiian survival, and marine life. From the moment you pull out of Fleming's beach to the second you return, there will be a smile on your face from this adventure that keeps you continually engaged. Not to mention t's a good upper body workout! Perfect way to get a little taste of everything Maui has to offer. A+ Operation.

We took the Out rigger canoe adventure from the Ritz Carlton. We are a family of 5 with children aged 12,11, and 7. We had a fantastic time, it was fun for all the family and we discovered history about the Island only the local guides share with you. We made rope from coconut skin, drank fresh water from springs under lava rocks, and snorkeled with the sea turtles. A must do if you enjoy the water, swimming with the turtles!! Tim was our guide and he provided a good time and great learning experience, he has great attitude and very patient with the children. Recommended for adults and families. Also provide a nice set of photos of the family during the excursion. That itself was priceless!

We signed up for the Honolua Bay Kayak Excursion at the last minute, and it ended up being the highlight of our Maui vacation. We were staying at the Ritz in Kapalua, so we just needed to step out of our room and walk to the beach to get going.

After a short, but useful training session, we jumped in our kayaks and made our way toward Honolua Bay. During the kayak trip, Donnie, our incredible guide, pointed out sites along the way along with fascinating history. We were already having a blast when Donnie spotted dolphins out of the corner of his eye. We quickly kayaked over to them, and before you knew it, we were kayaking with a pod of spinner dolphins directly in front of us! It was an absolutely incredible experience! We were not expecting this at all, and it does not happen on every excursion, but you could not wipe the smile off our faces.

After a fun stop on Slaughterhouse beach, we made it to Honolua Bay, and jumped in the water to snorkel. Again, Donnie eyed the dolphins in the bay, and we swam directly over to them. What's better than kayaking with Dolphins? Snorkeling with them! Donnie took great pictures of the dolphins and of us to capture this incredible memory. When the dolphins left, we continued snorkeling and saw sea turtles, and a ton of beautiful wildlife in the bay. Then, we enjoyed a snack (provided), and then kayaked back to the beach.

Huge thank you to Donnie who was a great guide for the kayaking trip, and who also provided us a ton of great information on how to spend the last few days of our vacation in Maui. Highly recommend!
