We loved staying here.We were married here 20 years ago and this time was as wonderful. We brought our 18 year old son with us and he loved it. The weather was perfect and there was so much to do.

When a vacationer can start a leisurely stroll from the town of Lahaina (and its wonderful shops and restaurants) and end it a few short miles later with a delicious cocktail at Duke's, with everything in between from high-end shopping, golf courses, Black Rock diving/snorkeling to just sitting on the sand and soaking in the view of Lanai...you are in a very rare place! Kaanapali Beach is that place. Thoroughly enjoyable.

This beach is picture perfect and is well protected from all but west swell. There is good snorkeling along the rock wall on the north side.

Beautiful beach, water, scenery and a rainbow every evening. Something for everyone. Food for every taste and budget. Only minus is traffic to and from can be a bit of a bear.

Many resorts line this great beach, which has a nice sidewalk/walkway between hotels, restaurants, Whalers Shopping Village and beach entrance points. Sand is white and clean, lovely warm waters to swim and float around in. Slow grading from shallow to deep water. Black Rock is a snorkeling area at North end of Ka'anapali Beach (part of the Sheraton Resort) and can have strong current surrounding it, so can prove a bit rough for snorkeling. Am daydreaming now of a wonderful afternoon in the sun and surf at Ka'anapali. A "do not miss" experience.
