Great spot for swimming and sunning. The snorkeling is great there and you can actually dive off the rocks into the ocean. Parking is NOT free but there is a parking garage there for $20 a day. You can also rent umbrellas and chairs from the staff there.

This was our second time at Ka'anapali Beach. While there's been some erosion since our last trip, you still can't beat all the choices you have on the nice stretch of beach between all the resorts. The beach at the end near the Sheraton is still the nicest, and the snorkeling around Black Rock is terrific

With whales spouting offshore, and wonderful snorkeling near Black Rock, Ka'anapali Beach is paradise.

We stayed at the Sheraton, which is by a line of hotels. It was nice because anything we wanted to do, they had it all at this beach. The waves were very small here, so it was great for families with smaller children. If you walked a little further down, you can catch waves for surfing in front of the Marriott. It was clean, shady, and just beautiful.

Such a perfect spot for lounging, swimming, & snorkeling! Half of the days we were there the waters were not so calm so we didn't swim but when the water did settle it was amazing!
