“Beach Walk”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

The beach walk along Ka'anapali Beach is very nice & paved or boards all of the way from Black Rock to the Paki Maui. There's always something going on on this 1 1/2 mile trek & some nice beach-side restaurants. Stop & snorkel or shop or just enjoy the blue Pacific.

“Safe sandy beach.”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

Snorkeling close to shore. We dubbed it the "Aquarium". Fish and turtles everywhere. Beautiful and colorful coral formations.

“Nice”

Nice sandy beaches with not too many people. Good for those who want to play in medium sized waves without worrying about being surrounded by surfers.

“Surf's up! Totally different than Wailea area.”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

We came to Ka'anapali Beach to compare to what we had been seeing in Wailea & Kihei areas. It was very different there, and the waves were much rougher. It was a beautiful area. Public Parking and beach access at the Hyatt. There was also a rental stand there on the beach to rent paddle boards. Fun Day!

“A Little Bit of Heaven”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

We got one of those timeshare invitations from the Marriot on Ka'anapali Beach and succumbed to the temptation. The resort was wonderful, the beach was gorgeous and the timeshare presentation didn't kill us. This is what you think about when you think about Hawaii. Verdant green, white sand and blue water. There are zillions of hotels and condos along beach, so take your pick. You can't go wrong. This is a very expensive stretch of land though. My very frugal husband ate most of his meals at Taco Bell and took me to the grocery store so I could stock up on Pop Tarts for breakfast.
