“Loved It!”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

Loved the atmosphere, loved the food. Very organic, small portions which was fine, good home made yogurt and granola. Would most definitely go again and suggest others check it out too.

“Did not meet expectations”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

My wife and I with another couple made sure we stopped by Leoda's after reading some of the reviews. We were all eager to try out the pies, and my friend and I wanted to try out the hot dog which another reviewer had praised. In brief we were disappointed. The hot dog was okay, but nothing extra special. It was different - it had pineapple bits with the sauce. I had the berry pie - a small 3" serving - and though it tasted fine, the crust was only okay, and there was very little filling. The decor is fine - much like you'd expect for a roadside diner, and it's location across from the beach is great.

“Stop, Do Not Pass Go!”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

Don't miss it. The rules are simple, get in line, order a fantastic lunch and follow up with dessert. I would suggest the BLT on Leoda's white bread and apple pie. I hate apple pie. Order the apple pie.The key lime is also damn good. Service is excellent . If you would like to eat in have someone in your party grab a table while you order. Makes thing run more smoothly too!

“Fun lunch at a local favorite!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

We stopped here for lunch our last day on the island and were not disappointed. You will pay island prices here but everything is expensive on Maui. We had club sandwiches and one Ahi Tuna sandwich which was terrific! They said it was their most popular menu item. Wish they included the option to add a combo with chips and drink for a slight upcharge instead of full price for each item individually. Also ordered the chocolate mac nut pie. It was tasty but in essence was a chocolate cream pie with mac nuts and whipped cream on top. It was small for around $8.75. We did receive recommendations from two locals to try this place and even though it was pricey, I am so glad we did. The atmosphere was great. If you want a break from the large chain restaurants definitely give Leoda's a try!
