Really can't say enough good things about this place! The food is simple but so flavorful. We enjoyed the different pies as well. A little bit pricey, but the quality is great! A favorite place to stop.

We found this place quite by accident on our way to Kaanapali from the airport. We stopped for a fruit smoothie at Olowalu at mile marker 15, and this cute place was right next door. It looked like a wildly popular place and we came twice during our 2 week stay and enjoyed it both times. The service both times was excellent - very friendly! You place your order at the register and the food is brought to you. The first time we were blown away by the Reuben on homemade grilled rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, and a great house thousand island. It was one of the best we have ever had! Tasty and perfectly prepared! Also had the Cobb Salad was also excellent, made with fresh ingredients. The banana cream pie was delicious! The second time we came the line was out the door. We again ordered the reuben and were disappointed in it this time because the corned beef was not as lean - maybe it was overcooked. But the patty melt made up for it because it was great. The chicken pot pie was good (but the "crust" was a piece of baked bread on the top) - the filling was fresh and well prepared. We took home a chocolate macadamia nut pie that was fabulous. Loved it. It is a moderately priced place to eat some quality food in Maui.

Sorry to say, the choc nut pie was very over rated in my opinion, way too sweet and expensive, 8.+ I was disappointed after reading other reviews. Also disappointed that breakfast stops at 10 am - in a resort area?! So no eggs. Will not visit again :(

Stopped here on the way up to Lahaina from the south shore to grab some desserts to go. Savory biscuit warmed up was delicious - cheesy and well seasoned. Apple hand pie a bit too sweet for our liking; and the lime pie had tasty filling but too much cream on top so the ratios were off. Next time we'll stop by for sandwiches - looked delicious!

Stopped at Leoda's on the way back from Kahului to pick up some of the 'famous' pies and with much anticipation we barely waited for dinner to be over before we dove in. We chose the Peanut Butter Pie and the Lime Pie as our desserts du jour but much to our dismay we found not one but two hairs embedded in the Peanut Butter Pie crust and a Lime Pie with little to no lime flavor. What flavor was evident in the lime pie was also masked by the overwhelming whipped cream topping and the Peanut Butter while somewhat more well rounded in terms of flavor, it was decidedly underwhelming compared to a quality pie. Perhaps it was just a bad day in the bakery and we will no doubt try again but as they say "Once bitten..."
