“Great Lunch Spot”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Its easy to see why this is a popular spot! We enjoyed our lunch and managed to fit in some pie for dessert as well! We stayed in Kihei or I'm sure we would have visited a second time.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

Went to Leoda's eagerly anticipating some good eats based on numerous Trip Advisir 5 star ratings. Arrived at 1:40 pm and the place was packed. Thought this was a good sign - especially since it is outside the actual heart of Lahaina. Ordered Ruben Lumpia (VERY greasy) and it had no flavor! Had a carnitas Hand pie ... Very little meat ... Crust was good but filling was dry and served with a tomato, onion & cilantro pico which did not add anything to enhance the pie. Had a Cobb salad that had NO MEAT other than bacon... Shouldn't a Cobb salad have turkey on it?!?!?... and Greek olives (which I love) which were overpowering to the flavor of the salad. Served with a ranch dressing that was so tasteless, at first I thought it was supposed to be a dip with the carnitas hand pie... Did not add much to that either. Last we had coconut cream
and banana cream pies. The pie
crust was a graham cracker crust
- NOT the delectable crust they are known for. The pies had 40% filling to 60% topping. And this is NOT a whipped cream topping! It's like a dream whip. The left over pies have been in my fridge at the condo for 5 days and the topping us still stiff! Definitely does not taste or last like whipped cream. And for $8.75 each I expect a pie crust AND whipped CREAM! A very unsatisfying way to spend $43.00! I will not go back. Too many other good places to eat on Maui.

“Fab Pies”
Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

I am a pie expert, and these pies are special. Grab a few to go and eat at the beach. The berry is 4 berries with a buttery crust and side a whipped cream, and very refreshing, not sweet. The apple has a granola-ish topping with a yummy crust and full of fresh apples. Life would be magical if we could get all our fruit servings from pie...
