We had heard positive things, but when we drive past, we were apprehensive. Very very unassuming and understated exterior. We relied on reviews and referrals, and we walked in without a reservation on a Monday night. We were very lucky and managed to get last table for two. The place was packed.
Our server (cannot recall her name unfortunately), was stellar - understated, efficient, very very helpful with recommendations. Ahi brushchetta and octopus appetizers were stellar and delicious. We shared the dore main course, which was lots for two and absurdly fabulous.
We could not have been more satisfied, the bill was very very reasonable (and we both had wine), and the busy atmosphere gave the evening a certain energy. The location is fabulous, overlooking the water. I cannot think of a less than complimentary thing to say, despite my desire to be objective.... We will repeat and recommend this restaurant without hesitation!!
