“Memorable moonlit waterfront experience at Honu”
Reviewed April 15, 2012

While in Maui we went to Honu twice for dinner. What a great staff, with a great location on the water. Dining at the edge of the world with the moolight shining down on us made for a memorable experience. And the food was outstanding! Simply magnificent!

“best place to eat on Front street in Lahaina”
Reviewed April 11, 2012

Amazing food and service! Great views from your seat, with delicious food and really superb service. Kids got a kick out of the fortune telling fish they gave out with the crayons (okay, we all did), grownups got a kick out of the amazing lobster pizza, chowder and crab sandwich. Do not miss this place amongst all of the other food choices in Lahaina. It's at the end of Front Street as you head towards Ka'anapali - and worth any wait you might have.

DELISH!

“Excellent new restaurant!”
Reviewed April 8, 2012

My husband and I recently had dinner at Honu for the first time. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere reminds us of restaurants in St. Bart's. It's very lively with that hip artsy vibe. The menu is very good and the setting is beautiful. This is definitely on our top 5 list of restaurants in Maui.

“Overpriced”
Reviewed April 5, 2012 via mobile

The venue and service were amazing but that's about it. The food was way over priced (apart from the lamb riblets appetizer) with the oyster appetizer, fish and Asian style pasta being all ordinary for the cost.
Wouldnt recommend or return.

“Very Good Food if an Improbable Combination”
Reviewed April 5, 2012

Exciting and unusually delicious creative preparations in a chic but relaxed environment open to the water. Highlights were: White cheese pizza with wild mushrooms, truffle oil and lavender; wonderful ahi tartar three ways, amazing kale salad with dates, walnuts and an exotic cane drizzle.
