We were so happy with our room, 104. It was a beautiful room and well kept. Thanks to the owners who shared it with us. We had an ocean view and loved the sound of the waves at night. When we left the room we had a great view of the garden area. It did get a little hot in the afternoon but we weren't there every afternoon and it cooled off after the sun went down. We saw so beautiful sunsets and some sea turtles. There was a farmers market across the street and an ABC store down the road if you need things fast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. John was a tour guide agent and was very helpful in giving us suggestions on where to visit and eat if you were down town Lahaina. Ate at Jay's Place twice and Bubba Gumps. Jay's was affordable and Bubba's is pricey. Shaved ice was great and a lot of places to try it. When going to Maui and needing a place to stay Aston Paki Maui is a good one to stay at. Try and get room 104. You'll love it too.

Room Tip: Room is on the first floor and 104 is a great room. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed for the week. No A/C but had fans and you have the ocean view that did cool the rooms down.

A couple of things weren't repaired but otherwise we really liked our stay there. We went to three islands this trip and this property was easily our favorite. Turtle watching from the balcony was fabulous.

Room Tip: None in perticular

Our stay was for 24 nights - yes a long time in one place but we did fly from Australia. We had a 2 bedroom ocean front, with 2 bathrooms for the 5 of us. The boys (11,13) had a room with 2 single beds, my partner and I the master bed room with king sized bed, and my daughter (8) had the pullout couch/sofa. The kitchen had a full sized fridge and oven, there was also a microwave, dishwasher, and a coffee maker which I eventually got to work after a couple of false starts (don't have one a home). Note here a little tight fit for the oven and dishwasher, as to open and close the oven, you need the push the buttons on the front of the dishwasher in sequence to allow the oven door to go down and up. There is no air conditioning which I thought might be a problem, but if the room did get a little warm as the sun was setting(they face west) but once it was down, opening up all the windows allowed the cool breeze from the garden area to flow through, cooling it well, the overhead fans were on the entire time we were here. (It could be a problem in the humid times of the year) Abby our cleaner came through every day and spruced up the place (making beds, taking out the e rubbish and replacing towels) Reception was helpful, and responsive to our needs ( light bulb changes, how to work the shower....) and had a great beach towel exchange system - get in early they sometimes run out. We made use of the concierge facility and had snorkeling trips, and zip lining. As we had a ocean front we had lovely sunset views each night (sushi at sunset!), and the constant sound of the waves rolling in. We arrived during the USA spring break, with people commenting how busy it was, we did not find this to be the case, as mostly we thought it was a nice quiet place to stay (there are always people who feel the need to hold loud conversations outside your unit at 2 am but this was a once off, not a regular occurrence). Honesty it is not the flashiest place I have stayed in, and I am sure if you wanted to throw money around you could find more impressive looking places. However we found it comfortable and a relaxing place to stay.

Room Tip: Worthwhile having ocean view

This is a time share property, not a hotel. So don't expect the amenities and service that hotels offer. But if you have a family or are retirees and want a quiet base of operations consider this. No sandy beach and the pool is tiny. You can snorkel if you are willing to navigate the few rocks. The benefits are outstanding views in a private setting, watch the sea turtles that come by every day, the whales in the spring, enjoy the public park next door or the "chill" atmosphere in the farmers market, fish market and Bad A$$ coffee shop. A short walk to Kaanapali or short drive to Kapalua. Big rooms. Many are individually owned and managed so furnishings and cleanliness vary.

Couldn't beat the ocean view, but the room was a dump. Probably hadn't been renovated since the 1980's. Dirty mauve carpeting and old furniture. However, was impressed with the small kitchen. Would we stay here again for the money we spent? NO.
