Wow, what a lovely place to dine overlooking the ocean. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgable about the specials, and suggested good alternatives when one type of fish was unavailable. All of the dishes had lovely presentations, and tasted great. Not an inexpensive meal, but worth it based on the location and the quality of the food.

Excellent food, to die for cocktails, the banana chocolate dessert was divine. Our server Michele was outstanding. Love this place!

We felt like some sushi and sake last night, so we took the suggestion of the concierge and went to Japengo. We are so glad that we did. They didn't have the sake we wanted from the menu but found an alternate. The Alaskan Black Cod was really tender and tasty. We had some rolls ( all excellent ) and some local Kona Kanpachi and Big Eye Tuna. Big portions and excellent tasting; they melted in your mouth. If you like sushi, just go. We will be going back one more time before we leave. Aloha...

Average/below average sushi. Bad wine, beer. Good atmosphere. It's just an average 3.5 star hotel restaurant. Not worth the cost.

The best restaurant in the area, Don't miss it for the food and the views. Make sure you try the blackened ahi sushi, it was amazing
