We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Food is always fresh and well-prepared. Service is good. If you are going for lunch, get there at 11:00 am and seating will be available.

“Lunch or Dinner It was good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2013

Went there at 200pm, it was still a full house on Friday. Sat at the counter, service was excellent, thanks Zane. Hitachino Red Ale was a great recommendation. No matter if it's lunch or dinner, food was great. Make sure you order the Steamed Pork Buns, it out of this world. If you like garlic, Garic Noodle should be your choice. Don't miss this place if you're around the Lahaina area.

“Good noodles and yummy crispy pork belly steamed buns”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2013

We arrived after the lunch time rush, about 3:30pm and had to wait 20 minutes before being seated. We order the crispy pork belly steamed pork buns, chicken and shrimp pad thai, fried soup noodles and an order of malasadas on a sticks with dipping sauce for dessert.

It was all really delicious, food was piping hot. The shrimp and chicken was cook just right, flashed cooked on the wok. Our favorite was the pork buns and the malasadas, not quite like Leonards on oahu, but these were light and fluffy inside.

“Good food great value”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2013

A second visit to this now very popular restaurant. Bottom line is we fed five adults a very good dinner in a nice atmosphere for under $95 (no drinks). There can be over an hour wait on weekends, but parties of 5 or more can get a reservation. Once in, the service is knowledgeable, friendly and fast. Favorite all around: pork buns, vietnamese crepe, tempura shrimp, hot n sour, local salad. Mixed reviews for fried soup (a little spicy for some) and Look Moore Funn (noodles a bit thick and dominated flavor). Plenty of food for 5 people. The malasadas dessert was very good as was the dessert called three frozen treats (weird but creative ice cream combos).

“Sooooo Goooood we had to go back 3 times!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

We heard about this restaurant from some friends who had been to Maui a couple of months before we went...it was everything they said it would be, delicious, reasonable prices and busy... expect a wait of 30-40 minutes during the dinner hours. The hot and sour soup was awesome with just the right amount of spice. The scallop shooters were unique and super tasty...the steamed pork buns are a specialty of the restaurant and should not be missed. Lastly, the sunset from the parking lot is a bonus if you are waiting for table! Whenever I am on Maui will be going to Star Noodle...
