“Great deal, amazing food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

We had an amazing lunch here. The menu is lacking in description though - we might have ordered differently after seeing what other tables ordered (and not realizing what each menu item actually looked like). The pork buns are ridiculous, a definite must! The pad thai was tasty, as were the Singapore noodles (which were surprisingly curry). The doughnut dessert was fantastic (not called doughnuts though...). Altogether a great dining experience!

“Much ado about nothing”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

I read all the reviews, and have thoroughly enjoyed all the other restaurants on Maui owned by the same people (try Leoda's Pie Shop!), but have to give this one a big thumbs down. The food was alright (nothing special) but the service was absolutely appalling. We had to wait for 40 minutes to get in at 4:30 in the afternoon, although we could see several tables set and cleared, sitting empty. The guy that took our name reminded me of the "soup nazi" from Seinfeld. The entire staff acted as though we were privileged to be in their restaurant! We couldn't believe the staff's attitude, and even when we left, there were still people waiting outside to get in while empty tables sat ready inside for the entire time we were there. It was unbelievable! I don't know who manages this place, but I'd fire them if this were my establishment!

Really nice server. yummy share plates of pan asian food - we had the hot and sour soup, pork noodles, taiwanese pork buns, and some kim chee. All good choices.

“Great, but get there early”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

This is a fabulous little place tucked out of the way in an industrial area above Lahaina. Wonderful Asian food with a few good twists on old favorites. The prices are very reasonable by Maui standards as well.

The only drawback is that since this place has been discovered, you need to get there early to get a table of a spot at the bar. At lunch, if its past 11:15, expect a line that is literally around the building.

“GREAT FOOD”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2013

This is a great out-of-the-way place above Lahaina. The food was wonderful; the staff was gracious and helpful; and the atmosphere was great. I would go back in a minute. The garlic noodles were soooo good.
