“Slow Service”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

While we expected high prices since we were at a resort ($21 for cold continental breakfast | $28 for hot (eggs and sausage) continental breakfast), my husband and I really expected better service for the amount of money we were paying and for the Sheraton's reputation.

It took 20 just to get a round of waters for our table, another 15 for our waiter to come back and take our drink order and then 10 more before the drinks arrived. We were 45 minutes in before getting our drinks! We were there with my family and large groups can be tough but it was late and the restaurant was not busy. The food was OK, nothing awesome but definitely not bad. Even paying took a very long time - between flagging our waiter down to get the check, waiting for him to pick it up, and getting our receipts, it was 30 minutes. Had we not been tired and starving from our flight from the mainland it may not have left such a bad taste in our mouths, but we were so put off that we didn't eat there again.

It was convenient to have the restaurant on site and the views were nice.

“Needs to be more consistent”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

We ate here three times on our visit to Maui and were left with two different opinions.
Our first two visits were excellent. The restaurant had a good atmosphere, the service was great and the food although on the expensive side, was excellent. The steaks were well cooked and delicious. We also tried the lobster and prawn risotto which were delicious. The first night we ate here the three course special was not on, so the place was not crowded and service was attentive.
On our third visit, you could be forgiven if you thought your were in a different restaurant. The place was crowded with most diners ordering the three course special. Service was haphazard and the food was terrible. My wife received a cocktail without a straw that looked like a cheap mixed drink.
We sent some food back and asked to see the manager. We were offered free drinks and desserts, but declined. We were then told that we would not be charged for our dinner - which was what it was worth! We waited ages for the manager and then left.
The manager did call us and apologised and said that a different chef was in charge that night.
Looking at other reviews it seems like there is two restaurants operating here. Unfortunately if you get the bad restaurant you will be wasting your money.
Diners beware - eat here at your own risk. Good luck with that!

“Overpriced”

Wow the view of the resort was gorgeous, I found the food overpriced for the quality.I would recommend other options before eating dinner here.

“Good experience... pricey but food was nice”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

This is located in the Sheraton. The setting if you sit outside is lovely as it overlooks the grounds of the sheraton which are pristine. Due to prices, I opted for the lobster bisque and appetizer ravioli. The husband got the chicken dish. His chicken dish was small on size but very good on taste. My bisque was absolutely delish. I could have eaten a gallon of it. The raviolis were tiny and not particularly memorable. If I could do it over again, I would go with just the bisque. We only ate here once during our stay due to prices despite the fact that it was a good meal.

“Don't waste your time or money”
Reviewed March 20, 2014 via mobile

We ate here twice. Both times were a huge disappointment not to mention expensive. Meals were lukewarm to cool when they were brought out. I ordered shrimp risotto with asparagus. Shrimp was okay. Pasta was overlooked. Asparagus??? There were 6 thin diagonal slices from the stem buried under the pasta. Not even one tip in the bowl.
