Loved this open air cafe right on the beach. Had a very large and delicious breakfast. Lots of options and vegetarian choices as well.

Betty's Beach Café had great breakfasts and a great view. We enjoyed our mornings there and began our days with Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's at Betty's. Great atmosphere and food.

I had asked someone at the front desk of our resort about whether it was worth it or not to attend a luau. She said she wasn't really a fan of luaus and suggested we go to Betty's on a Wed night for their lobster special, get a table overlooking the ocean and watch the Feast of Lele show. Then, if we liked it, we could make reservations for a luau another night. And that's exactly what we did!

We arrived at Betty's for happy hour. Had a couple of Mai Tais and beer. The table we had was literally overlooking the dining area and stage right next door for the Feast of Lele. We watched the Lele staff set up all the tables with dishes, cutlery, etc. A couple of the dancers were practicing on the stage. We watched as the dinner guests began to enter and fill the place.

Betty's never made us feel rushed. We enjoyed our drinks then as dinner drew near, we ordered a bottle of wine and two lobster dinners - at $16.95 each, you sure can't go wrong with the price! The "dinner" was a lobster and scoop of white rice. We also ordered a side salad (which was not that great and really not worth it; don't bother).

The lobster was fantastic. Did I mention they were only $16.95 each! And they were a nice size too and thankfully came with real butter.

The Lele show started as it began to get dark. We watched the show from our table side and eventually left before it was over. We were there well over 3 hours.

We did end up going to a luau at Old Lahaina Luau later that week. We enjoyed it more than the Feast of Lele show. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Betty's for both their happy hour and for that Wed night lobster dinner! If you have found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking below!

Betty's provides good food at a reasonable (Hawaiian) price.. still expensive.
We went for dinner twice and enjoyed a nice view of the water, sail boats, and the island of Lanai in the background.
My wife said the drinks were good, strong and good.
We tried the Island Fever Mahi, Mahi Tacos, Fish & Chips, and Lava Flow.

The fish was good, cooked well, and served with sides and garnish that looked nice. We didn't have a problem getting a table as we were there in early May. The waite staff were nice and pretty attentive.

Betty's is hidden from Front Street but well worth looking for.

We came for breakfast and we had a gorgeous view of the beach. Ordered the Loco Moco and the pancakes with sausage & home fries. The portions were large, each meals were big enough to feed two adults. The coffee was ok, POG was delicious and service was excellent. The view was relaxing. It's not a big place and space looked like it might get tight when crowded.
