This was the highlight of our trip ! The Japanese Chef was amazing ! The Sushi was melting in our mouth and we kept asking for more ! Make sure to have a Dinner there while on the Island !

It was a rainy evening and we decided to stay close to the Ritz Carlton. The convenience of the location was about the best thing we experienced. The menu was very limited, especially if you are a sushi lover. It felt like an express menu you might see in an airport. While we felt the fish itself was very fresh, the rolls were falling apart and the rice was dry. We had dinner at Japengo a few nights later and the experience was night and day. I would definitely go there again before Kai. We have not been to Sansei yet but have heard excellent things.

I totally disagree with the last review...Sensei is NOT better than Kai, I would say that they are very similar however if we went back we would eat at Kai before Sensei and we've been to Sensei several times. Anyways we had delicious food at Kai, we ate at the bar in the main area of the hotel and had great service as well!

If you don't want to wait in a long line to get the 'discount' rate at Sensei then Kai is a great alternative.

Food pretty lame, service was really bad. Even my kids couldn't wait to get out of here-- passed on dessert. Variety of sushi and lack of other Japanese hot food options reminded me of a strip mall at best. Prices were high for quality of the experience. Sensei less than 100 yards away is far better. For those who do sushi would avoid..

The sushi was good, but the restaurant was only open Wed - Sat and then only from 5:30PM - 9PM. It should have been open more since the Banyon Tree Restaurant was closed for renovations. Plus, a table of 4 very drunk and very loud people was next to us, so the experience wasn't so great.
