This is a great museum to recall the history of the Hawaiian islands and Lahaina in particular. After several days in the sun, the museum is a great place to spend several hours in air conditioned comfort. Go in the afternoon and plan to visit the shops, eat dinner at Leilani's or Hula Grill and watch the Free Hula show. Right on
Kaanapali beach so the sunset is the best.

There are a large variety of stores and vendors for every price range, and with the beach close by, its a nice place to spend the day. We stayed in South Kihei and drove up for the day. I would say if you are looking for shopping a little cheaper than in Wailea then it's worth the travel time, or if you are staying close then it's a nice spot. Otherwise you can find similar shopping at The Shops at Wailea.

Whalers Village is close to several major hotels and condos on Kaanapali Beach...a short walk. The ABC has good prices for a convenience store and a good selection of food, drink and souvenirs. There are three good restaurants...Hula Grill, Leilani's and Maui Fish and Pasta.

Always great shopping and good access for Black Rock snorkeling. Snorkel first, grab lunch, go shopping and have your parking validated.

Great place to spend the day shopping, eating or doing some beach time! High end stores and boutiques. Don't be afraid to walk in some stores as you can find affordable items. Crystal Rainbow has affordable jewelry and Hula Grill has great food. Parking ticket good for three hours but you can get it validated at stores and restaurants. If you go over three overs get a different store to validate as you can have more than one. The beach is nice so enjoy a swim. This is a good stop with many options to enjoy!
