“Ultimate Whale Watch”

I can't imagine a better whale watching experience than the one provided by Ultimate Whale Watch. Rachel was a great captain. We went late in the season and still saw 3 breaches and whales, whales, and more whales. It was an up-close experience because their maneuverable boats can get to the action quickly. I've done other whale watching tours while in Maui. This is the best. Hands down!

“Fast and Up Close”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

This was a great experience. I don't think we went more than 5 minutes at any one time without seeing a whale. In addition to seeing a number of mother whales with a calf, and an occasional potential whale boyfriend, saw a whale jump completely out of the water and even had one swim right under our boat! The captain and the guide were both very fun and informative. They genuinely seemed to love their jobs. The boat was small and fast so we were able to quickly get to where the whales were breaching. With only 18 passengers, everyone had a great view regardless of which side of the boat the whales were on. If you want see lots of whales and have an exciting boat ride, this is the way to do it.

“Wanted to go again right after!”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

By far the best Whale Watching tour I've seen in Maui. No, nonsense... just get on the boat, get out there, and whale watch.
The boat is great. It only had 12 people when we went. I think the max is 18. On larger boats people are scrambling over each other and blocking each other's views and the experience is just unpleasant in my opinion.
The boats here are fast and comfortable, the pilots bring you close to the whales but give them their distance. The naturalists help answer your questions and they both set you up for great photos by positioning the sun behind your lens.
Highly recommend!

“Ultimate in every way.”
Reviewed March 26, 2013

This whale watch is truly ultimate.

We was very close to the whales and where able to take some amazing pictures.

Our captain and our whale specialist where sweet and helpful girls.

The boat is small but with only 18 people on board it does not feel crowded.

90 % on the trip was spent watching whales and not searching for them.

The price is very very fair for what you get.

I am not a big fan of sailing, but this is one trip I wanted to go right back on when we got off the boat.

I will 100 % come back when we visit Maui again.
