When on Maui, a must do, is a snorkel sail.
I have been on a few and have never been disappointed.
If you're staying at the Ka'anapali area, most times you will have to travel down to Maalea
Harbour to join your boat. Gemini however, lets you board at the beach...no travel...great!
The Gemini boat is very comfortable and I had the benefit of a super crew. Capt. Marty welcomed all on board and David, Andrew and Emily set about their tasks with lots of soft drinks and snacks on the outward leg...and a killer lunch with tropical drinks, beer and wine on the return. All we had to do was eat, drink and swim. What else do you want?
The trip was due to go to the North, but Capt. Marty explained that rainy weather and a bit of a swell were not conducive to the best snorkel...so he took us to another sight where we had the beautiful sea-green turtles up close and personal. We all felt like Jacques Cousteau.
The return ride with lunch and mai-tais had us back on the beach by mid-afternoon. Time for a snooze and then let the evening begin...
Gemini was a great option. Thanks to all and if you're fortunate enough to go, I'll bet you enjoy it too.
