Planned a snorkel trip with Boss Frog's Quicksilver to Molikini after a disappointing snorkel trip to Lana'i with Paragon. The crew from beginning to end was perfect. Each was more than happy to assist in just about everything. Something that caught my attention with this outfit too was that they had a lifeguard on a surf board floating out there while people snorkeled. The Captain was great in providing information over the P/A regarding history and additional information. Unfortunately for us the Molikini area was just too choppy and we were not able to put in there. We ended up at an alternate site and had just as much fun. The bbq lunch was very good as well. My wife and I paid around $135.00 total (for both of us). Compare this to the 150.00 per person (300.00 total) we paid with Paragon to Lana'i with a boring and disinterested crew, as well as a lunch that they should have been ashamed to serve and I think the choice is obvious. I would recommend this trip to anyone without hesitation.

The experience I had with these people was awful.

I felt like I was dealing with a discourteous and obnoxious youth (on meth.) eager to make his first commission sale over the phone.

I was trying to be civil but it got worse as the conversation went on. I should have just hung up and called American Express to cancel the transaction, live and learn! I will simply avoid these tourist parasites the next time we are in Maui.

Beware of their 'freebies' there is usually a catch that they don't tell you about until after they have your credit card details and got you booked on a tour.

When you get to know your way around the island there are ways of staying away from these tourist predators all together and still get great deals on activities.

Boss Frog's needs to train their staff to LISTEN.

WOW, the crew of the Quicksilver is AWESOME! My husband and I took a boat ride on the Quicksilver to Molokini for some snorkeling and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We booked the trip through Boss Frogs dive shop on Maui, and from the moment we booked the trip till the time we landed back on shore after a fun filled day of snorkeling and whale watching this group really knew how to take care of the customer. You leave early in the morning out of Maalea Harbor and they serve a continental breakfast and really take their time getting over to the Crater because this time of year the whales are still in the area and we were able to see plenty of them. We even saw bottle nose dolphin and fake killer whales (I think that is what they called them). You stop at two snorkel sites, turtle reef and of course Molokini which is like being in a swimming pool. When you are done snorkeling they serve you a BBQ lunch which was really quite tasty and they have an open bar at a VERY reasonable price. But the best part was the staff, we were so impressed with each and everyone one of them. Cruise date: 04/16/2008.
