We decided to eat here on our last day in Maui. Had we had this earlier, we would have gone again. Mahi Mahi (fish of the day) tacos were great. Salsa options good and service was fast and friendly. Not overly expensive and convenient. Stop in for a visit.

Fresh and delicious little pricy but worth it. You can buy fresh fish to take back to the hotel to BBQ or grill.

Ordered the ahi grilled sandwich and it was greasy and more like what I would expect from a Denny's. The homemade chips are also greasy. Cost was $15. Very disappointed.

Fresh, flavorful, and unique...Fish Market Maui has freezer cases full of locally caught fish and some of the best fish tacos anywhere! I'm from SoCal, the unofficial home of fish tacos, but these were SUPERB!

I don't know why I did not review this place when we were in Hawaii last year??? Fast forward to this year and we dropped in for a leisurely lunch.
As other reviewers have said- this is a Fish Market- emphasis on Fish and Market. The fish is fresh, cooked perfectly and very generous portions. There are stools and a counter inside and several small tables outside in a small strip mall where you still feel that "Aloha" spirit.
Special of the day was Macadamia encrusted Mahi Mahi, served with a pineapple salsa and Thai butter. Sides were rice and the ubiquitous macaroni salad. The fish was rich and melt in your mouth tender, cooked to perfection- the Thai butter brought out the macadamia flavor. This would be a $30 meal in a lot of places- served here at a reasonable 14.95
Husband had 2 Baha Fish Tacos- these tacos come with a piece of fish the size I have not seen anywhere else in a taco. Lightly breaded/fried to taste the fish. Cabbage slaw and corn torillas- you need 2 tortillas to support the piece of fish. Price 4.95/ea- One taco would be plenty for many. Did not purchase any of the Poke this year, last year it was superb. If you are traveling with someone who does not eat fish- the Kahlua Pork items are a great choice and everyone is happy.
Saved the best for last- the young gentleman behind the counter was so friendly. He came back to check and see if we liked the fish and was so pleased that we loved it and took pride in his food.
Put this on your list, you will be too busy oohing and aaahing to talk during your meal
