Owner description: At Wailele Polynesian Luau dinner show, guests will embark on an exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Recognized for providing an award-winning experience, the luau is held oceanfront at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and features dances and songs from old and modern Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand (Maori), Tonga and Samoa. Highlights include the story of Pele (Goddess of Fire), Hi'ilave Hula Awana dedicated to Wailele (meaning waterfalls) and Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale called "Siva Afi". The unforgettable evening of fun, culture and entertainment is complemented by a traditional dinner served buffer style and selection of beverages.

Thanks to premium seating we were in the first row, which was great for the show. We were offered drinks promptly and throughout the night. The show was intesresting, though hard to tell whether authentic or not. The fire dancers were amazing, definitely the best part of the evening. The food was adequate, nothing spectacular. The pulled pork was my favorite entre, the fish was fine. None of the food was warm. Considering the price, it was annoying to be asked to pay $20 for a picture that turned out to be not great quality. Bring your own camera and take pictures with the performers at the end of the evening.

Overall, an entertaining evening, though not memorable.

We were a wedding party of 30 people with premium seating(front row) and had a terrific view of a terrific show. But the service was so terrible it was pretty much no service...the food was mediocre at best..could hardly get a drink , had to keep asking for a glass of wine..our group paid almost 4 thousand dollars so it was an expensive show!!!

Before starting off, I should say, I expect a lot from my food...I like it HOT and my taste buds can be difficult sometimes. That said, even if supper would not have been served, the show itself stands alone!
The dancers and fire spinners were amazing! We had great seats with our party, the first 4 tables so we had a great view. I have not one bad thing to say about the show except it's a must while on the island of Maui!
The buffet was serves after a dance or two and we were the first to serve ourselves. There were lots of different choices and most of them were good. The food wasn't nearly warm enough though.
All in all, this was a great experience! Definitely one of my favorite things we got to do while on the island :)

We had preferred seat and I think it made a huge difference because we were in front row!
We were welcomed by a lei and a cocktail. The decoration was very beautiful, the show impressive, the food great! Our waitress was really attentive and we never went out of Mai Tais. Regarding the buffet, the way it works is that you first go to the buffet and then you can ask your server what you want to eat.
The dancers were really good, there was a show man very funny and a older hawaiian that told us a little more about the culture.
This is must-seen show :)
