This was the hotel chosen by Trafalgar Tours with whom I was travelling with and we stayed here for 3 nights. My room was clean but a little tired and the bathroom could do with a brighter globe!
The resort I felt was well appointed and I think would suit most people. It was busy with most of the pool chairs taken and the beach strip very narrow. ( Coming from Sydney Australia I expect all beaches to be as good as I have at home )The breakfast restaurant was pretty good and the staff very attentive but the birds were relentless at trying to take food from the tables. On the second day I asked for a table away from the waters edge to avoid the sparrows.Sadly many people find it fun to feed them hence the swarming. This is in no way a complaint of the staff who find it more bothersome than the guests. The restaurants on site are a little pricey but you have the choice to walk along the beach front to Whalers Village (10 mins.)where budget options are available. The general feel of the place is great. The shops within are good & they even have a small Macy's.Our group attended the Luau here and it was a fun night. My room was well away from the construction area so for me - no issue.Overall, I would return here and recommend it .More
