Came here for breakfast, great food, great prices. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault! Would recommend this Coffee House

“Delicious food”
Reviewed August 14, 2014 via mobile

We arrived at 7am and there were people lined up outside waiting for them to open! We ordered breakfast, coffee and dessert. The portions of food were enormous and came out in a timely fashion considering how busy they were! It was delicious too! Grandmas coffee cake was the best coffee cake I have ever had! Coffee was excellent too. I found the atmosphere to fit quite well with it's surroundings in Kula. Overall an excellent experience

“Simple but genuine local hospitality”
Reviewed August 9, 2014

Visited Grandma's a couple of times as we were staying just up the road and really liked it. It is simply furnished inside..."rustic" is probably the best way to describe it, but the food was good and the staff were friendly. This is definitely off the main tourist route and it looked like a lot of people in there were locals.

“Quaint Little Place”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

We stopped into Grandma's on the way back from watching the sunrise at Mt. Haleakala. We were not disappointed! Grandma's is a small, cozy little restaurant with good food and a nice atmosphere.

You order your food at the counter and then your meal is brought to you once it's ready. My husband and I had a simple breakfast with two eggs, toast, and Portuguese sausage. It was delicious! Our friend ordered a dish that included eggs and Spam, which he loved!

On the way out, we purchased a couple of cookies and a coconut/macadamia nut bar for the trip back to the hotel. All the treats were homemade and delectable!

The only downside to this restaurant is that there is no bathroom onsite. You have to walk down the road to the park to use the facilities there.

I would definitely recommend going to Grandma's if you are in the Kula area!
