Great central location, especially convenient to the volcano and for those drives to Hana. Sue is a super hostess and has thoughtfully provided all the amenities you'll need for the beach or those chilly sunrise/sunset trips to the volcano. The suite is very clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Breakfasts are delicious, the room and views are lovely, and the overall vibe is very peaceful. The only negative is that the soundproofing between the guest unit and the main house is not 100%, but noise is minimal (only mentioned in case you're super sensitive to noise or want to make a lot yourself). Overall I had a very pleasant experience and would not hesitate to stay at Kula View on my next trip. In fact, I look forward to it!

My husband and I stayed at Kula View Bed and Breakfast for two nights in August, and we had a wonderful stay. The room is clean and decorated in soft, romantic colors. Susan is a very gracious host, and she brought our breakfast right to our room. Her garden is beautiful and the view is stunning! We would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to get away from the crowded resort areas of Maui.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Susans for two nights in January of this year. Susan was very nice and welcoming and we loved her giant cat George (whom I found out loved dried cuttlefish!). The room is upstairs and had a separate entrance from the rest of the house. The room itself was decorated in pale seashell tones and reminded me of a beachhouse even though it was in the mountains. The room was beautiful and the view was even more lovely. The bed was large and the linens and blankets were perfectly clean and of good quality. The night was very still, but also very hot and I had a hard time falling asleep. In the morning, Susan brought a delicious breakfast, consisting of fresh guava juice, papaya, and chocolate nut bread, and tea, up to our room and set it all up for us. The next day we drove to Kihei and Makena (South side) and had an amazing time. The other great thing about this B & B is that it is centrally located (right in the middle of Maui) so gettting around was not a problem. On our last day in Maui we wanted to go up to the crater to watch the sunrise, since the B & B was only a short drive (30 mins.) from the crater. Susan was very accomodating and gave us blankets and sweaters for our trip and packed our breakfast for us from the night before. The sunrise was okay (took about and hour and a half for the sun to fully rise) but not as amazing as we expected. The drive up was difficult and it was freezing cold on the top so anyone going should take a lot of extra clothes. Overall, our stay at Susans was awesome especially for the price ($85 for high season). Definitely give this place a try if you are a party of two (more and it would be too crowded as there is only one bed).

We stayed Kula View B&B 2 nights in first week of April. Breakfast is so good, very very clean, nice view, and owner Susan is very nice person. There is only one guest room and all upstairs are for guest. They didn't change bath towel everyday but if you want to, just tell her and she will do it for you. Air is so clean and fresh. I will be back again for sure.

Susan is the most gracious host of any we found on our visit to 5 of the Hawaiian islands! She serves wonderful breakfasts and the she includes all of the special little touches that make you feel at home (and more!) We had a lovely time, and only wished that we could stay longer!
