We booked on-line and the process was easy, we even got a senior's discount of a dollar each when we arrived. We took the golf cart tour and we are glad we did as the property is situated on the side of Mount Haleakala and is quite steep. Definitely take a light jacket and wear good shoes for walking. You can wander on your own but the guided tours are great if you want to learn. Our guide Zach was awesome, so knowledgeable about all the plant species and lots of interesting info on not just the lavender but also all the other plants on the site. He is one of the gardeners and has been working for a year after he arrived from Southern California. The gift shop is well stocked with everything lavender and the prices are not outrageous. Have a scone and some lavender tea and enjoy the awesome views of the central Maui valley as well as both coasts. A great way to spend a few hours.

Just a couple dollars gets you in to the lavender farm. It is a nice walk around the plants and there is a little gift shop and coffee. But the view is why you are really here. Fantastic!!

My wife and I went here and had a very peaceful day. There really aren’t fields but rows of different lavender numbering about 30 in all. There is a pathway leading through beautiful gardens and a gift shop. They do sell hot tea and have a limited amount of muffins which you warm up yourself. This could be greatly improved on. I would suggest bringing a umbrella since you are in up country. There are no road signs leading to this place so make sure you either have a Garmin or some other GPS device or a smart phone. The cost is $3.00 per person cash only.

We had an hour or so before we had to be at the airport, and found this beautiful garden setting was quite close to the airport, so we decided to explore, and found it to be a well laid out garden with some of the best views we had had our whole trip. It was very relaxing and a great place to chill before getting on the plane.

Saw this place on the way to see the crater. Stopped by and saw nice flowers and the smell of lavender was great. Also nice view down the side of the hill. $3 to park anything else is optional. You can certainly walk aroun ND for free.
