“Quiet solitude after a day of sun and adventure”

The Palms Condo was perfect for our needs. My husband and I ...along with another couple....stayed there for 9 nights...together in a two bedroom..(one with more privacy than the other.)..and two baths.Short walk or ride to the beach (you will have to rent a car if you plan to see the island). With a large barbecue on the lanai...modern kitchen...boogie boards in condo...this quiet...relaxing location was perfect to come home to after a busy...adventurous day on the beach or touring the island. Lots of restaurants within a short drive...concierge at front desk...large pool...great housekeeping..and friendly staff...if this is what you are looking for...I believe you will love it too.

This hotel is a real mixed bag. There are some solid good points - the price was excellent for the area (military rate) and the rooms were ridiculously spacious! It was nice to have a kitchen in such an expensive area. On the other hand, the room was outdated - the floors were filthy and everything in the kitchen was sticky and needed a good cleaning. My room was next to the garbage cans which stank of rotting meat the entire stay. No internet was real downside. There is no fitness center - but plenty of options for running. The beach is a bit of a walk - but there are parking lots at the beach entrances. Despite the problems, I might do the Outrigger again if I came with family and needed a big, quiet place, but I sure missed having internet and clean floors.

If you are looking for a relaxing, plenty of space, just like home condo, the Palms at Wailea is the one! From the inviting pool, exquisite grounds, super staff and excellently laid out rooms we were impressed from day one. Our two bedroom, second floor unit was impressively equipped including beach chairs, boogie boards and even pails and shovels for the beach! The location is great, in a quiet neighbourhood but so convenient to beaches and shopping. It was our first time here but we would return again. Our one and only issue would be that after a few days we noticed it wasn't as clean as it looks and you definitely should bring slippers or house shoes with you.

The Palms at Wailea is well located, very clean and has a great pool. The rooms can be a bit dated, but thats all there is to complain about. Our suite, 701, was perfect and we really enjoyed it. I cannot understand how anyone can say anything bad about this place.

This hotel was by far one of the best we've stayed in while visiting Maui. A superb location for shopping and close to some of the best beaches for snorkeling that Maui has to offer. The hotel was beautifully maintained and the staff were superb and helped to make our vacation the best it could be.

Oahu kids rented a block of three condos for the Xterra World Championship race. Rooms were quiet, clean, stocked with cookware, and a great place to relax. Service was excellent. I have stayed at the Palms for 4 Xterra races and will be back next year. Thanks Outrigger for the continued service!

The rooms was very nice and sizable for being able to move around in; however, it appeared that they could have been cleaned a little more than what was done. The location was very unique: relaxing and enjoyable; grounds was well groomed and inviting. Visiting other areas of the island was easily accessible.
